Breathing into Balance

Our emotional state at any given moment, our overall health, and our ability to focus and relax is reflected in our breath. Although most of the time our breath operates on an unconscious level, it is always accessible to help us regroup during stressful times and is a driving/foundational force in creating improved health, performance and inner peace.

The beauty of the breath is that it is capable of both unconscious and conscious operation. The breath can also be reprogrammed through easy training to build a healthier foundation for general activities and greater availability (depth of support) for conscious access during stressful periods or to deepen our relaxation and meditation.  

I assist individuals in creating greater awareness of their breathing and establishing healthier breathing patterns through various types of guided practice, breath exercises including yoga and qigong, and biofeedback programs such as Resperate and HeartMath.
